How IPTV works
A provider delivers supported live or on-demand content through a network connection. A compatible player on a TV, streaming stick, phone or computer receives the account or playlist information and presents the available content in an electronic program guide.
IPTV service and IPTV player are different
The service is the content and account access. The player is the application used to display it. Installing a player alone does not provide channels, and a player may support only certain login formats or devices.
